It took Kate Norris 26 years to fully claim her identity as an artist. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in English and French, she went on to earn a Master of Art in Studio from Adelphi University before settling on the North Fork of Long Island in 2020. She and her husband are both ordained ministers who co-founded Dandelion Ministries together, a fitting root for the dandelion motif that runs through pieces like Evening in Arles and Not Alone. Her work spans painting and photography, but it always comes back to the same instinct: find the beauty in what's unremarkable.
